Workshops

Questions that require time together

About Essays

Thinking-Place Workshops bring scholars, writers, artists, activists, and practitioners together around questions that cannot be settled through a panel discussion or an exchange of prepared positions.

Some workshops will be academic and invitation-based. Others may open parts of the conversation to the wider public. The emphasis remains the same: small groups, sustained exchange, unfinished work, and the freedom to think through an argument in the company of others.

Each workshop is organised around its own theme. The purpose is to make questions more precise, arguments more durable, and inquiry more genuinely collective.
